Program Date Options

Facilitated by:
Jalynn Bosley, Sam Dear, Dr. Ryan Howard

Registration is currently closed.

What are the tools and mindset needed to be effective and grounded in an ever-changing world? Designed to be experiential, on and off the screen, Anchor week sessions will revolve around deepening a sense of self and how it relates to personal leadership, critical consciousness with an exploration of the grey of helping/service, and nature connection at home and abroad.

Art (in various mediums), reflective writing and exploration of natural spaces and the local community will form the foundation of the activities that will bring screen sessions to life. We will also travel virtually to the Colombian Amazon where our facilitators have strong relationships.

To optimize learning, create transfer, and have some fun the last session will be based on our virtual program called Connectival. This program will challenge students to put their learning into action through a number of opportunities to express their thoughts on world issues, practice tools derived from Positive Psychology and explore the natural world through taking photos, short videos and completing collaborative team missions.

This program is intended for students in Grade 9 – 12 who are eager to get curious about themselves and the world while also being playful. Once we establish interest, we will ideally group Grade 9 and 10 students together and Grade 11 and 12 students together.
